The iPhone 7 front camera doesn't work anymore after water damaged,  when open the iPhone front camera, it keeps black and won't take photos or videos, we can fix it here!

Becasue the iPhone 7 front camera doesn't work after water damaged, is the iPhone front camera itself damaged? Try to fix it by replacing the new iPhone front camera.

Use phone opening tools to disassemble the iPhone 7, remove the iPhone display disassembly, and then remove the iPhone front camera.

Next install it with the new iPhone front camera, and then install the iPhone 7 to test, but the problem is still there, which means it's not the problem of the iPhone camera, is it caused by iPhone motherboard?

Disassemble the iPhone 7 again, remove the iPhone display assembly, disconnect the iPhone battery, and then take off the iPhone motherboard.

Observe the iPhone motherboard by microscope,  we found that the area of water had corroded and blackened.  According to the iPhone schematic diagram, we know that they are the iPhone front camera 1.8V power supply insurance inductor FL2901 and right corner of the camera socket.

Attach the iPhone motherbaord ot the PCB holoder fixture, clean it with PCB cleaner, apply some solder paste to it, and then use QUICK 861DW hot air rework station to solder it.

After the motherboard cools, assemble the iPhone 7. Press the power button to turn it on, test the iPhone camera, now the iPhone front camera is working normally, and all other functions tested are normal.
