I believed that many people have
experienced the loss of cell phones, no matter it is accidentally lost or
stolen, or robbed. However, the cell phone may have a lot of privacy, such as
contact person, photos, bank card and credit card information, etc. So, we have
to strengthen the security of the phones. Vipporg now give tips for increasing
iPhone security.
1. Apple ID and password. Please set and
use strong and unique passwords that are hard to decipher. Don't be afraid to forget your password, now have a unlock passcode tool for unlock the forgotten password. Now iPhone have the
option to six-digit codes to unlock a device, you'd better use this feature.
Try not to choose a password related to your birthday, phone, id number, name,
etc. There is one thing you can do in
here, go to Settings>Touch ID & Passcode, you can see the optional about
ALLOW ACCESS WHEN LOCKED, turn off as many features as you’d like under the
Allow Access When Locked section. Once turned off, you won’t be able to access
these features until you unlock your iPhone.
2. Open "Find my iPhone". This
function can help you locate your phone, track where it is or where it’s been,
and remotely erase data in case you can't recover the device. You can also make
use of the two-factor identification option available on iCloud.
3. Open "erase data". If your
iPhone failed to enter the password 10 times, it will erase all of data on your
iPhone. You can find the data from your iCloud backup.
4. Two-factor identification option. When
you enter your Apple ID and password for the first time on a new device, there
are two steps waiting for you. Enter your regular password at the beginning.
Then you will have to verify your identity with a six-digit verification code
using one of your other devices. You can set it on your Apple ID account page.
5. Don't jailbreak your iPhone. If you
jailbreak your iPhone, it will prevent you from updating your apps and IOS
version, preventing you from immediately patching bugs and vulnerabilities.
6. Choose secure networks. When we need to
use the Internet, we'd better choose a secure network. Unsecured Wi-Fi networks
can be used by attackers to intercept data via man-in-the-middle attacks.
7. Download security genuine App. Resist
potential attacks, it can greatly reduce threats from apps and links before you
even download them.
Finally, we hope your iPhone can be in safe
state, and we need to find more security settings to protect our iPhone. If you
have any ideas, please share with us.
